Starring: Yoon Eunhye, Park Han Byul, Yoo Inna, Cha Yeryeon
A story of friendship, these 4 young women struggle with problems such as family, love, work, and friendship. It's a cliche plot, to be honest. I've seen many movies like these (the plot line is a bit similar to Hellcats/Some Like It Hot). So, how did this movie turn out? Let's find out shall we?
Yoomin (Eunhye), Hyeji (Byul), Soojin (Yeryeon), and Minhee (Inna) are all graduates of acting school. The movie starts out with Eunhye breaking it off with her long time boyfriend (cameo by Lee Chunhee; I gotta say, I've missed this guy tons! The last time I've watched him was on Family Outing T^T). After a troubling day, who does she consult with? Of course, her friends. Hyeji is your typical party girl who likes to drink and have sex with guys (like I said, cliche). Out of the 4 girls, she's the more promiscuous and more wild. Soojin has been trying out on auditions for various movie roles but constantly gets rejected and denied and Minhee is the happy go lucky friend who wishes to go to learn English because she will be going to America to study.
As the story progresses, Hyeji becomes a big star that everyone idolizes. Soojin develops jealousy towards her friend because she has been trying to audition for long while her friend just had to dance in the club to get famous.
Eunhye finds a guy who she ends up being in a relationship with because they had sex after a party. She worries later on if she's pregnant or not (it was the latter). She is also the only one out of the four in the beginning to have a stable job as script writer. She meets a middle school classmate/friend Yoomi who later on kills her self because of depression. Around this time, Eunhye finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her though he didn't say it directly.
Minhee attends an English tutorial center where she will be taking her TOEFL. There, she meets Seungwon (Dongho from U-Kiss, YES, Dongho. You will die from the overload cuteness from this boy in this movie) who later she finds has a crush on her. During this time, she also deals with her parent's divorce and suffers from bankruptcy.
So basically, this movie is about Eunhye who suffers from work and love, Hyeji who becomes a well known model but is a bad actress and a scandalous star, Soojin who is a failed actress and can't be accepted to anything she auditions for and Minhee who tries to learn English and deals with her parents' divorce and bankruptcy.
Out of 5 stars, I'll give this one a 4.5, there's a .5 just because of Dongho and Chunhee appearing on this movie, haha. Although I'm not a big fan of Eunhye (curse that Cass MV she made with Nichkhun, up til now I still can't get over it ;___;), I liked her in this movie. But I gotta say, Yoo Inna is definitely one of my favorite actresses now due to this movie. She looked alot like Jea in this movie. I even thought it was Jea at first when I started watching. Haha. The movie isn't bad and it was a good watch. You guys have to give it a try.
